Physiotherapy

The physiotherapy department is a spacious and well equipped unit. The physiotherapy team at Lynden Hill Clinic provide specialist treatment for neurological and orthopaedic conditions, amongst others, in purpose built Physiotherapy Department. Each patient on arrival is given a full assessment, which is tailored to each patients medical and physical condition. Treatments are given in multiples of two half hour sessions unless otherwise specified.

The physiotherapists concentrate on improving joint range of movement, increasing muscle strength and reducing pain utilizing the latest evidence based treatments.

Treatment aims to improve mobility, walking, and functional independence. For conditions such as strokes, treatment will focus on relearning movements and sensations that have been lost.
