Applied Kinesiology is the fastest developing natural health science
Applied Kinesiology is the science of using simple, gentle, non-intrusive muscle tests to analyse and assess body function, and locate imbalances.
Imbalances in function are part of life. Most are self-correcting, but some are not. When unresolved, imbalances accumulate causing pain, distress and ultimately disease.
Muscle testing is a type of language. It is a way to communicate to the body. This is a very simple, safe method of analysis which allows the client to tell the therapist what is needed to rectify the problems.
It enables us to approach the whole person and find areas which need to be brought back into balance. The living person has four main divisions.
The Mind
With its emotions, thoughts, ideas, dreams, fears, phobias and anxieties.
Applied Kinesiology has many ways to help with the stress and emotional disturbances
which are having a psychosomatic effect. There are many powerful techniques
to help with dyslexia, slow-learning, reading difficulties, and many co-ordination
problems.
The Body
The structure of the muscles, bones and organs. Applied Kinesiology helps
find the correct common structural weakness and imbalances, discover muscle
malfunction from whatever cause. It utilises methods of instant activation
to restore normal function. Backache, sports injuries, most aches and pains
can usually be resolved in short order.
Biochemistry
The biochemistry of organ function, food digestion, digestive enzymes, minerals,
vitamins. Applied Kinesiology muscle testing is a quick way to check for food
sensitivities, some allergic reactions, and specific nutritional needs. Applied
Kinesiology can also help assess our adrenaline and endocrine levels, and
bio-chemic responses to stress. A strong immune system is vital to health,
and Applied Kinesiology can help restore balance and strengthen our resistance
to disease.
Life Force
The fourth, often neglected part of us is the Life Force. It is energy which
enables everything to function in what we call life. Applied Kinesiology is
used to detect and remedy energy excesses and then rectify distortions and
blockages in other body energy systems.
Often after operations, or accidents, energy imbalances and blockages are frequently the cause of slow recovery. Applied Kinesiology muscle testing can find these energy blocks, resolve them and speed healing and a progressive return to health and well being.
Stress causes disease
In perfect health, all systems of the body receive an unimpeded flow of this
energy. Our bodies are designed to withstand a certain degree of stress and
strain, but when this becomes excessive, something has to give way. Certain
parts are shut down when under stress, much in the same way as a fuse blows
when under stress when we overload the wiring in our houses.
The science of Applied Kinesiology enables practitioners to monitor the energy
field of the body. Using a simple series of muscle tests which take only a
few minutes it is possible to find where the imbalances are in the body. These
muscular imbalances can then be assessed to determine whether the fault is
structural, chemical or is in the area of mental and emotional activity, or
even an energy blockage.
We can be stressed in five ways, and each affects the other. Physical stresses affect our mental, chemical and energy balance. Chemicals can poison us, causing physical and mental disturbances. Mental problems do cause real sickness and pains which are not just all in the mind. Our energies are stressed by electromagnetic waves. Thermal stress is the fifth.
The relationship between these factors is crucial to the proper understanding of disease. It is quite useless to treat any sector, if we do not consider the affect on others.
How many visits?
We expect to get significant improvement in three to six week visits in most
cases. Most people feel better after the first treatment and a great deal
better within a month. If a health problem is long standing, or particularly
severe, then it may take longer to resolve.
Nutritional Supplements
Nutritional Supplements are usually part of the treatments. They greatly assist
a speedy return to well-being, and are charged separately.
