The villa is situated in total seclusion, all you can
hear are the birds in the day and crickets at night, with beautiful views
and just two minutes drive from the old village of Porches, with it’s
quaint narrow streets and superb restaurants and just three minutes drive
from two lovely quiet bays on either side of the rock called Sra da Rocha
which means Our Lady of the Rock.
Mary (Divine Mother of the Universe) is known to have appeared there in the 16th Century and a small chapel was built in memory of this occasion as sailors lives were saved when she appeared and calmed the sea. I have also had my own healing experience there hence the reason for buying a villa in this location, as it has a beautiful healing energy. A story of this is available on request.

drive The villa is beautiful, bright, and welcoming with marble floors throughout,
three double bedrooms and two bathrooms also a new annexe with two large
double bedrooms and a bathroom.
A small covered porch over the wooden front door opens to an attractive circular hallway. Then to the right through an archway is the large open plan lounge with a Scandinavian wood burning fire, also a dramatic impact from the three patio doors looking out over the countryside making the room light and airy. There is a TV (with English programmes), Digi box, Video, and CD music centres. It then opens into the spacious dining area, and with patio doors leading to another terrace that looks towards Porches village in the distance, giving a rural private feel with civilisation within sight but far away enough not to bother you!
The new open plan kitchen has plenty of wall units and work surfaces, well
fitted with, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, fan assisted oven, large five burner
gas hob and microwave (for those who insist on having one). A large window
gives the kitchen plenty of natural light and a patio door gives access to
another large terrace . A small walk in utility room, in the kitchen houses
the washing machine and tumble dryer.
There is also an excellent swimming pool, chemical free and cleansed at the moment by Hydrogen Peroxide, but eventually by Ozone ~ a treatment in itself, with terraces beautifully set in the countryside to maximise views. There are extensive grounds which are being tropically landscaped.
There
is a brick built barbecue for outside eating. The lounge and kitchen terraces
have steps and a wheelchair pathway for easy access down to the superb large
raised swimming pool with surrounding balustraded terraces which seem to ‘hang’ in
the natural garden with olive, almond, fig and carob trees near by.
The garden is terraced to both sides; this enables you to have all round sunshine or shade, which ever is to your liking, and planted with indigenous plants. The water comes from a borehole of 160 meters deep, imagine using pure, clean water ~ never been used before. It is also purified by Ultra Violet and Reverse Osmosis for drinking. The villa has solar heating for hot water.
5 Day maid service is provided with Christina (Villa Manager) who speaks English and was trained at Lynden Hill Clinic for Gerson and Reiki.
Every consideration has been given to wheelchairs on the ground floor.
Horse riding is available via the local stables ~ this can be organised for you.
